I graduated in 2013 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from San Jose State University, California and a BA in Integrative Studies from CIIS in San Francisco. I am trained in the Hakomi Method (link) body-centered psychotherapy. I have been working with disadvantaged populations in medical settings for since 2013.
As a therapist, I believe in taking the journey with you in order to help you discover your own humanness. I take this role very seriously and consider it a privilege to learn about you and what is holding you back from being your full self.
My therapeutic journey started in 1989. As a therapist, I am my own self-study. I have lived through trauma in my life. I suffered from PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks and I was a therapy client for many years. I know that road, recognize the pitfalls and understand the road blocks. And I use the tools I teach to my clients in my own daily life.
